Brave SC hosted a Florida Soccer Referee Association certification clinic on Sunday, January 17th at the club’s Summerfield complex. The event included 29 attendees — 22 new referees and seven recertifications.
Over the course of the five-hour clinic, which included classroom and on-field portions, referees learned the building blocks of game management, positioning, on-field communication, and other essential skills for officiating a match. Upon completion, each of the participants was certified as a referee and allowed to begin officiating youth matches in Florida.
