In May 2026, Brave SC played a home match at The Range at H. G. Morse Stadium in Middleton for the first time as a league fixture. It finished 0–0 against Sporting Club Jacksonville — not a scoreline anyone writes home about, but a night that mattered more than the result.
It was the fourth home this club has had in ten years.
The Polo Club
Brave SC — then The Villages SC — entered USL League Two in 2016, and the first two seasons were played at The Villages Polo Club.
It was an unusual place to watch soccer, and for a club with no permanent ground of its own, it did the job. Those first crowds were small, made up largely of families from the youth program that had been running since 2008 and a handful of locals curious about what a summer league team looked like.
Summerfield
Then came the complex on U.S. Highway 301 in Summerfield — three full-size grass pitches, and eventually a sand court, an indoor gym and a classroom.
The first home match there was on June 8, 2019, a 4–2 win over FC Miami City. Having a ground the club actually owned changed things. The first team still trains there, alongside every youth team in the club.
Buffalo Ridge
As crowds grew, the club moved its match days to The Villages Charter School's Buffalo Ridge campus, where a proper stadium meant proper matchdays — floodlights, stands, a ticket booth, a concession stand.
Middleton
The club's first match at the Middleton campus wasn't a league game at all.
In March 2024, Brave SC hosted Savannah Clovers FC in the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at H. G. Morse Stadium — the club's sixth appearance in the competition, and the first time in its history it hosted a professional opponent. It was also the first professional competition ever held at The Villages High School's Middleton campus. The match was made possible by a partnership with the Buffalo Stampeders, and admission was free.
Two years later, Middleton became home.
What a night at The Range looks like
Gates open an hour before kickoff. Parking is free. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for ages 11–18, and free for children 10 and under, available at the gate by cash or card.
The concession stand is open for every home match, and proceeds go to Buffalo Stampeders youth sports programs — so the hot dog you buy at half-time ends up back in local youth sport.
Next season
The 2027 USL League Two season begins in May.
