The recreational program is designed to allow players to become familiar with the game of soccer in an exciting manner. This program is intended to create a no-stress environment where kids are learning the game but also having fun.
Players train and learn skills on the first day and play games on the second day.
-
The players in the recreational program are required to have a Yellow Brave SC practice shirt. It is the same shirt given at previous programs including Summer Camps. So, if you already have it, you will not need to purchase one. If you do not have one, please select the option that includes the shirt at the time of registration.
Players do not need a uniform to play games. Team will be selected and divided by the coach and pinnies will be distributed.
We prefer black shorts and black soccer socks but it is not mandatory.
-
Soccer cleats, shinguards and your Yellow Brave SC shirt.
A large water bottle.
Parents are welcome to bring chairs and sit near the field to watch.
-
Our program begins at age 4 and ends at 12. It is designed to be instructional and is aimed at introducing the game of soccer. Our goal is to get the kids comfortable with a soccer ball and to have fun.
Players that feel read for more competition and training may ask to be evaluated for a spot in a competitive team.
-
For the Recreation Program games will be played on the second day of the week. They will be small-sided games aimed to introduce the skills and techniques taught on the first day of the week.
