Anderson earns his UEFA B in Germany

Anderson Da Silva has earned the UEFA B licence through the German Football Association**, after several weeks in Germany.

He now holds both the USSF A-Senior licence and the UEFA B.

Why go to Germany for it

The A-Senior came first, in 2019 — the first course of its kind ever run by U.S. Soccer, hundreds of hours of work, trips to the National Development Center in Kansas, and an instructor coming out to our complex to assess him on his own field. See #54.

This is a different qualification from a different system, taught by people who have coached in a different football culture.

He met coaches from seventeen countries on the course.

That is the part worth dwelling on. A head coach from Central Florida spending weeks in a room with coaches from seventeen different countries, all of them doing the same badge, all of them arguing about the game.

Whatever comes back from that lands on our training pitch.

Great job, Coach.
