Tampa Bay United 0–2 The Villages SC**
Our fifth match of the season, moved from the seventeenth and played the following day.
Called in the 84th minute for weather — and we did not need the extra time to take the three points.
Oscar Resano got the first. Alvaro Carrera got the second.
0–2.
Both goalkeepers were outstanding. Easily could be a goal each direction if not for some incredible saves.
It could have been three or four each way. It was two, and both of them were ours.
Man of the Match: Niclas Wittur
His determination and vision made a significant impact on the outcome. Relentless endurance in pressing the opponent and disrupting their attack, always with the goal in mind — and his passes led to several attacking moves, including both of our goals.
A Man of the Match who did not score, chosen because everything that did go in came through him.
Two matches against Tampa Bay United this season, two wins, three goals, no goals conceded.
The first was the one that went off the crossbar and a defender's face. This one ended six minutes early with the storm coming in.
