Nona FC 1–1 Brave SC — called final in the 66th minute

A great deal happened in the twenty-one minutes of the second half we got to play.

A Nona player was sent off for a second yellow. We had three shots on goal. And we won and converted a penalty kick to level the match.

Then the lightning came in, and that was that.

Both clubs and the league agreed to call the match final at the point of the weather delay. All statistics from it — goals, cautions, minutes played — are recorded exactly as they would be for a full ninety.

The rule requires at least one minute of the second half to be played for a result to stand. We had played nineteen.

1–1, and a point taken from a ground where we had been behind.
