Coming back
Joao Ribeiro has been with us for almost a decade. He played for our youth teams and the local high school. He is currently back from his first year at Montgomery College, and during school breaks he flies home and plays with us every chance he gets. This year he got the chance to play against Hertha BSC and St. Louis City. Now he is here for the summer and ready to take on the USL2 season.
Nicolai Muench created several attacking opportunities last season and has the ability to win 1v1 situations to get past defenders. He was Man of the Match twice — once at our first game and then later in the season during a comeback that helped us get a spot in the playoffs. He returns after a season at Mercyhurst University, where he played and started all 21 games, scored 9 goals and had 11 assists.
Takeru Moriyama was Man of the Match twice last season, delivering key passes and well-timed tackles. He keeps the ball on the ground and is always looking to attack. He comes from a good season at the University of South Florida, where he started and played all 18 games. Back with the Buffalo, and let's see him build our attack this summer.
The return of Nick Butler. The last time he played for the Buffalo was back in 2021, when he took on River Plate, outran their defenders and scored a great goal. After that match he got the chance to play for SD Huesca, a professional team in Spain, where he has been until now. With the summer off he looked to come back to the Buffalo, and we are very happy he did. Many of you remember his speed and strength, and that is just what we want this season.
New faces
Mathias Tieppo has played for professional clubs in Brazil, most recently Manaus FC. He is now a Buffalo, and we only have a few days to see what our new goalkeeper can do.
Gustavo Veiga comes to us from Marshall University. This past season the midfielder was able to make his mark on the field even as a freshman. We are excited he chose to migrate to our club this summer.
Marco Chang comes from La Salle University, having just finished his junior year. Last season he played USL2 for Philadelphia Lone Stars, appearing in all eight of their games. As the Canadian continues his move south he now comes to Florida to represent the Buffalo, and we find the move a very good one.
Henrique Mendes is no stranger to extremely competitive soccer, having played for major youth teams including Botafogo and Corinthians. He spent six years at Corinthians before moving to Botafogo, where he started 41 games. The young defender is currently attending the University of Mobile, where he just finished his freshman year. We are excited to be the next team in his soccer journey.
Matheus Ferreira, central midfielder, graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2023. During his time with the Eagles he started 51 of the last 57. After his college season ended he was part of the Major Arena Soccer League College Draft, where he was picked by St. Louis Ambush. Now he is back playing on the field and we are glad he is on our side.
Joao Camargos Santos, defender, is a recent graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. At the beginning of this year he joined the NPSL side Appalachian FC in the U.S. Open Cup. In the first round they knocked out USL2 team North Carolina Fusion in a penalty shootout.
Oscar Resano, forward, comes from the University of South Florida, where he was selected twice as AAC Rookie of the Week as a freshman. This past season, as a junior, he was South Florida's top goalscorer.
Leonardo Andrade, midfielder, comes from the University of Pittsburgh, having just finished his freshman year. Leonardo's main goal is to make his family proud, and we hope this season with the Buffalo will do just that.
Felipe Jaime Arruda, midfielder, comes from Monroe College, where this past season he had a big role in the Mustangs' defensive effort throughout, playing 17 games and helping his team win the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
Adrian Chan, midfielder, comes from Florida Eastern College, where he played 12 games as a freshman. Coming from Orlando, he was selected during our tryouts.
Roberto Ydrach comes from the University of Central Florida, where he just finished his junior year, and is currently a player for the Puerto Rican National Team. He was MVP for Olympia High in his senior year, earning 16 goals and 12 assists, and played club soccer with Orlando City Academy and New York Red Bulls Academy.

## Up from the UPSL
The youngest player on our team, at only 16 years of age, Aiden Kaczmarski has been a Buffalo since 2019, playing on our competitive youth teams. This past season he moved to our new UPSL team and now has been invited to join USL2 for the summer. He is going into his senior year at Belleview High School.
Instead of welcoming him to our team, we'll just say: congrats on the promotion, Aiden.
The top scorer on our UPSL team, Alvaro Carrera, got the invite to join our USL2 team this summer. From tryouts at the beginning of the year, to UPSL, and now to USL2.
