Mark your calendars for March 19th!
Big news, Buffalo Family!
Brave SC is back in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup! It's been two years since the Buffalo last appeared in North America's most historic soccer tournament and we've been itching to represent our club on U.S. Soccer's largest stage.
And there's even more good news: we're hosting thefirst round!
That's right! Brave SC will be the home team for the opening-round match on March 19th, which comes with a couple of firsts for our club.
For the first time ever, Brave SC will host a professional opponent, Savannah Clovers FC of the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA), part of U.S.Soccer's third tier.
It's also time to make our selves home on The Range!
Just for the U.S. Open Cup, the Buffalo will be playing home matches at H.G.Morse Stadium at The Villages High School's new campus in Middleton. In addition to all of the amenities at the new Range, with 6,000 seats available, we'll need plenty of fans to come out and make us feel at home, playing there for the first time.
That's why admission will be free!
Yes, you read that right — no charge for entry to a national soccer tournament match featuring a professional team. We're so excited to be back in the Open Cup and even more excited to see all of you again. The wait for the season to start always seems so long, but the Open Cup gives us a chance to invite our fans back to cheer with us just a little bit earlier, and we hope that you'll be among the crowd.
Go Buffalo!
