The Villages SC 2–1 Treasure Coast Tritons
Exactly one week after a goalless draw against the same club, we beat them.
We took an early lead and controlled the tempo through the first half.
20' — Leonardo Paiva. 1–0.
1–0 at the break.
The Tritons equalised after it and made a match of it. Then we found a decisive opening late and took all three points.
46' — Eduardo Gomes, assisted by S. Da Silva, a minute into the second half. 2–0.
48' — L. Johnson pulled one back immediately.
Final Score 2–1
Man of the Match: Danilo Seglio
June 15 finished 0–0. A defensive gridlock in which neither side could find a way through, and Vandyke Gyau took Man of the Match for a back line that gave away nothing.
Same two clubs. Seven days. Three goals instead of none.
And it stayed 2–1 from there.
Three days after beating Florida Elite 4–2, three more points.
