Southern Conference Semi-Final, 115 Sunbelt Boulevard, Columbia, South Carolina.
Our season ends here.
Half time: 0–0.
Tormenta scored first. 1–0.
56' — 2–0.
Then a third. 3–0, and the match was gone.
We scored, and went into stoppage time at 3–1.
Our very own Jennifer Gianikas had to jump in to help the league how to run the broadcast. She got it to work just at the second half was starting. Thank you Jennifer for making it possible for everyone to listen and watch.
The season: Southeast Division champions, a U.S. Open Cup run that went ten rounds of penalties at Auburndale and then to Al Lang Stadium, our first season at our own complex, and a conference semifinal in South Carolina.
Not the ending we wanted. A very good year all the same.
