Our players spent an hour learning to dance with The Gentlemen's R&B Steppers.
Ten days after unveiling our kits at Spanish Springs — where the square found out our squad could dance — the squad went and took lessons.

Who they are.
The Gentlemen's R&B Steppers are a line dancing and social group here in The Villages, built specifically for men who want to learn without needing prior experience or a regular partner. Beginners welcome. Men with two left feet especially welcome.
They meet weekly for instruction, they perform out in the town squares, and they share food and company along the way. Wives and partners are often there too.
Ronn Booker leads them.

A squad of twenty-year-old footballers from across the world, being taught to step by a group of men in this community who have been doing it a great deal longer than they have.
Our players are fit. That is not the same as being able to dance, as several of them discovered.
