Season tickets collected, tickets bought, hands shaken, and a free magnet for anybody who wanted one.
People came in to pick up season tickets and stayed to talk. Asked about the squad, about who had come back from last season, about the Polo Club and what the summer looks like. ]
That is worth more to this club than the ticket revenue, and we mean that.
To the people who have been with us since the first season — who filled those seats when nobody knew whether this would work, who travelled, who stood in the heat, who turned up on a Monday afternoon at a restaurant to collect a ticket in person:
