Brave SC finished the 2026 USL League Two season as Southeast Division champions, taking 25 points from twelve matches and finishing eight clear at the top — all in the club's first season at its new home in Middleton.
It is a sixth Southeast Division title for the Buffalo, and one of the most commanding.
A season that started on the road
The 2026 schedule sent Brave away for their first four matches before they could open The Range at H. G. Morse Stadium. When the ground finally hosted its first game, it finished 0–0 against Sporting Club Jacksonville.
Getting a season underway without a home is not the easiest way to start. It didn't seem to matter much.
The numbers
Twelve matches, seven wins, four draws, 25 points — 2.08 per match.
The Buffalo scored more than anyone else in the division: 27 goals, better than two a game, while conceding just 13. That produced a goal difference of +14, almost double second-placed Nona FC on +8.
The gap at the top tells its own story. Brave finished eight points ahead of Nona, ten ahead of Inter Gainesville KF, and twelve clear of Brooke House FC. In a six-team division where three sides finished within a point of one another at the bottom, the Southeast was settled early.
The playoffs
The postseason took Brave to Rip Hewes Stadium in Dothan, Alabama, where Dothan United hosted the conference championship weekend.
The Buffalo opened against the hosts and came through 1–0 — a tight, low-scoring win to keep the run going. Two days later, Fort Lauderdale United ended it with a 3–0 result.
A word about Dothan United, though. They put on the weekend, looked after every visiting club properly, and made a long trip a good one for our players and the families who travelled. Beating your hosts is one thing; being made welcome while you do it is another, and they deserve the credit for it. We'd be glad to go back.
Where this sits in the club's history
Six Southeast Division titles. Two Southern Conference championships. The only Florida club ever to reach the USL League Two national semifinals twice — and the most successful USL League Two club in the state.
For an organization that began in 2008 as a local youth program with no senior team at all, that record has been built one season at a time.
