For the first time, our summer camp ran at a facility that belongs to this club.
17690 S US Highway 301, Summerfield.
Training, skill-building drills, games, and the first team taking part — the same format that worked in 2016 and 2017, on grass we own.
Direct interaction with the players and the coaching staff. That has been the point of these camps since the first one, and it is why parents keep sending children back.
In February we put a shovel in the ground and showed our Ambassadors a cow pasture. In May our Gold Pass members collected season tickets standing on the grass. In June we played our first home match on it and won 4–2. In July we won the Southeast Division on it.
And in between all of that, a group of children spent a week here learning to play.
That is what the place was built for.
