Still in the spirit of Independence Day, with free popsicles at the Polo Club and the temperature to justify them.
Half time: 1–1.
Full time: 2–2.
A month earlier we had beaten this same club 8–3 at their place — Le Roux with four, Araujo Jr. with a goal and four assists.
They came to the Polo Club and took a point off us.
Two goals keeps the record chase alive, but only just. Three matches left and eight needed to reach forty-six.
Thank you to everyone who came out on a July afternoon in Florida. The popsicles were the least we could do.
