We played Hertha BSC today.
The Bundesliga side were in Florida for an eleven-day training camp at IMG Academy, preparing for the second half of their season. They arranged four friendlies while they were here. One of them was against us.
The squad that travelled included Stevan Jovetić, Dodi Lukébakio, Lucas Tousart, Suat Serdar, Jonjoe Kenny, Marc Kempf and Slovakia's 100-cap international Peter Pekarík.
Not an academy team. Not a reserve side. The first team, mid-season, three weeks out from returning to Bundesliga football.
Hertha chose four opponents for that trip. We were one of them.
