Lakeland Tropics, SIMA Aguilas and your very own THE VILLAGES SC are so close in the standings that is going to go down to the two remaining games of the season.All 3 teams have games this week. ONE loss or even ONE tie from any of these 3 teams can be the difference between moving on to the playoffs or not.The Buffalo has to win both their upcoming games and then watch Lakeland and SIMA's results. Winning both of our games we may have to wait untilSunday's match (SIMA vs FC Miami) to know for sure where we stand.
Playoffs
Each conference’s playoffs will be hosted by one of the four teams to qualify to the semifinals and will ultimately decide what four teams from across the country qualify for the following weekend’s PDL National Semifinals. In conferences with three divisions, such as ours, the division winners and the best second-place team conference-wide qualify for the playoffs. If we win the Southeast Division or get the second place we would travel to Statesboro, Georgia for the playoffs to be held on July 20th and 21st.
