Man of the match | Caue Ramos

Game: Brave SC vs Sporting Jacksonville FC on June 8, 2026

Caue Ramos played a very strong match. He worked hard defensively, helping the team stay organized and win back possession when needed. He also supported the attack effectively, providing options going forward and contributing to the team's build-up play. Caue consistently looked to keep the ball on the ground, making smart decisions in possession and helping the team maintain control and rhythm. His performance had a positive impact on both sides of the ball.

Ramos met with Dr. Maen Hussein at The Standard for Coffee and Questions. Drink of choice: Late.

Introduce yourself to our Buffalo Family.
I'm 23 years old, from Brazil and currently enrolled at Bowling Green State University.

How is your college experience going?
It's my first year, so I'm a freshman. I'm an older freshman year student. But it’s been great so far.

This is your first year playing for the Brave SC. What made you want to come here?
I heard about it at the start of this semester and the fact that this is one of the best clubs in Florida to play for. The club opened its doors to me, and it is a pleasure to be here.

How was your experience so far?
It's been good. It's a good environment. It's a good group. I feel like we are growing up in the competition. It's good to be playing with the guys. Summer competition is so quick. We need to adapt quickly and understand each other.

How was it playing at home having our fans there?
Oh, it was so good. It brought a lot of energy to the game and made a big difference.

How would you describe your playing style?
I would say like a shadow. I try to be everywhere on the field, helping the defensive line, move through the field, stealing balls and giving opportunities in the front line.

Tell us about the match in which you were named man of the match.
Not the results we wanted, but it was a good match. I’m happy I got named Man of the Match. It would be way better with the victory.

What do you like to do when you’re not playing soccer?
I love to spend time with friends. Just like today having a coffee, hanging out, talking.

Who do you think will win the FIFA World Cup?
Brazil.
