IMG Academy 0–2 The Villages SC
The first league victory in this club's history, away from home, against IMG Academy.
We kept most of the possession in the attacking half for the first twenty-five minutes without finding a way through. Then two goals in quick succession, and we went in 2–0 up at half time.
The second half belonged to Paulo Pita.
48' — a great save to deny IMG. 54' — a huge save, one-on-one, and he got his leg on it. 59' — consecutive IMG corners came to nothing.
By 80' he had made several more, enough that they stopped being worth counting separately.
IMG pressed far better after the interval than before it. They did not score.
2–0. Our first ever win in the USL Premier Development League.
