FC Florida 0–1 The Villages SC
77' — Leonardo Paiva, assisted by Eric Ganime with a header.
A win on the road.
Both of them had signed professional contracts.
Eric Ganime signed with Wuppertaler SV in Germany in July 2019. Leonardo Paiva signed with Aljazeera Club in Jordan in January 2020 — in Dr. Maen Hussein's country of birth.
Both had those contracts put on hold by the pandemic. Both came back here for 2021.
0–1, a clean sheet, and three points away from home.
In the game that coach Anderson called a "chess game" Hender Sanchez is the Man of the Match.
Go Buffalo!
