Twenty-four goals in four matches

Our season ended outside the playoffs. It also ended with a run that belongs in the record books.

Our last four matches of 2025:

Jul 2 Brave SC 5–0 Brevard Fire

Jul 5 Brevard Fire 3–6 Brave SC — written up as #276

Jul 9 Brave SC 6–0 Inter Gainesville

Jul 12 Brave SC 7–1 Brooke House

Twenty-four goals in four matches. One conceded in three of them.

That is believed to be the most goals scored by a USL League Two side in a four-match span.

It did not start that way. We took two points from our first four and lost three of our first eight. By the end of June the playoffs were out of reach.

Then this team started scoring and did not stop.

Final record: seven wins, two draws, three defeats. Third in the Southeast, and the most dangerous side in the division over the last month of the season.

The team that played in July would have won this division comfortably. That is the frustrating part, and it is also the thing to carry into next year.

See you in 2026.
