Daytona Soccer Club 0 v The Villages SC 2
Two on the board, and three points coming home.
— Leonardo Paiva opened it.
— Joshua Fawole got the second, and set one up.
A goal and an assist, wearing the captain's armband.
Man of the Match: Joshua Fawole.
And nearly forty of you came with us
Almost forty supporters travelled to Daytona for a 7:30 kickoff on a Saturday night. In this league, at this level, in this division, that is not normal.
It did not feel like an away match. It felt like a home one that happened to be seventy miles up the road.
Two goals, three points, and a stand full of people in gold and green who gave up their Saturday to be there.
Thank you. Every one of you.
Our first home game of the season is this Saturday — at our own complex, for the first time in this club's history.
See you all there. Go Buffalo.
