Inter Gainesville 2–1 Brave SC
We were the better side for half an hour and came away with nothing.
Matheus Ferreira went just over on 13. Ailton Silva hit the crossbar from a beautiful Nicolai Muench pass. We were on almost constant attack and Gainesville barely got out.
32' — Gainesville scored from inside the box, against the run of everything.
41' — Pedro Santos had a header disallowed for offside.
45' — Matheus Ferreira put a penalty into the back of the net. 1–1 at the break.
50' — Gainesville scored on the transition to go 2–1 up.
Alvaro Carrera had come on at the start of the half. Moumban made a big save on 48. Ferreira forced another on 62.
Gainesville finished the night with four yellow cards — on 56, 61, 75, and one for their goalkeeper — and we could not find a way back.
2–1.
