FC Florida 2–2 The Villages SC
A back-and-forth evening in South Florida that we twice had to climb back into.
9' — Tete Vacas put us ahead.
18' — FC Florida levelled, immediately after a run of Buffalo changes, and had a dangerous move ruled offside moments later. We were offside ourselves soon after. Twenty-one minutes gone, and the match had already changed direction four times.
Nazar Deputat forced a good save from the FC Florida goalkeeper. Tete headed just wide from a corner — a very good chance.
1–1 at the water break.
41' — FC Florida's number 12 put them ahead. Jahlane Forbes was booked.
Vandyke Gyau came on for Nazar Deputat.
The second half was ours without being ours.
We had most of the possession and could not find the goal. Twenty-five minutes into the half, a lot of pressure and a lot of near misses.
An FC Florida player went down after a collision with Takeru and the referee called a water break.
Mario Simoes came on for Jahlane Forbes straight after it.
And then, right after a yellow card to FC Florida — the equaliser. 2–2.
Luca Natale came on for Fabio Amaral.
A point taken from a match we trailed twice.
